Accommodation Prices

Enjoy the Real Ecuador! Come to the Country!

Staying at Gaia Sagrada is affordable and easy on your budget, comparable to staying at any backpacker hostel or hosteria even though we offer so much more than just a place to sleep at night! Price includes use of hot tubs and sauna, free wifi internet, grounds for hiking, and use of the community center.

You can only book extra nights at Gaia Sagrada for a day or so before a retreat or after a retreat, and if you’re coming for a retreat. Here are our retreat dates. We don’t have the option of coming to Gaia Sagrada for just a few nights and not being in a retreat, unless you are helper, spouse or friend who is here to accompany someone who is in a retreat.

Photos of the Rooms
Casa Tranquilo
(private rooms)
Casa del Sol (shared rooms for couples and non-couples)
Dormitories (male and female separate)
Apartments (1 bedroom, kitchenette, and living area)

There are no restaurants around here. You are coming to the true countryside of Ecuador where the indigenous live a whole different way of life. This isn’t the city. This is a hacienda and organic farm in the mountains among country folks. This is the REAL Ecuador! We have food between retreats for $15 per day, just help yourself and make your own food. Fruits, vegetables, rice, lentils, cereal, bread, oatmeal, spices, everything you need! It is not prepared for you, but sometimes people staying at the center cook together and you can join right in! Help yourself!

Just buy a cooked chicken at the store before you come, canned tuna, sandwich meat or something else that doesn’t need to be cooked or heated.

If you are here between retreats, for $15 per day you can help yourself to the food that is here, fruits, veggies, rice, beans, cereal, etc. Meals are not prepared for you, but sometimes people who are at Gaia Sagrada between retreats cook together and you can join in! It is nice to be able to come and go in the kitchen and help yourself, feels like home…

During retreats no one is allowed in the kitchen unless they are ready to cut up some veggies and help get the meal ready. Or wash dishes of course!

Where are the older people?? Why do photos & videos always show a gaggle of 25 year olds?? Always smiling a culty smile, thinking they know the answers to the universe. It’s annoying to a 53 yr old with a shit ton of life experiences & 22 yrs of chronic pain. Do you have a seniors retreat or are you just hiding them from the photo shoots? If I’m going to go through something so intense, it’d be nice to have a few people to relate to.

While many of our work exchange team members are in their 20s and 30s, we have people of all ages and all walks of life in every one of our retreats. We recently had a guest who was 83! Rest assured, there is a variety of age groups and backgrounds for guests at Gaia Sagrada.
